This occurred during an interview with British GQ magazine, Bryan Cranston made headlines when he discussed his plans to step away from his acting career in 2026 for 3 years. However, the famous artist clarifies his statements by pointing out that he is not retiring but he will be taking a break from the entertainment industry.

“It’s not going to be like, ‘Oh, I’ll read and see what I’m going to do.’ No, it’s a pause. It’s a stop. I won’t be thinking about [work]. I’m not going to be taking phone calls,” said the famous actor during the interview.
He also said that he will be taking a break because he wants to go to France to have quality time with his dear wife Robin Deardon for several months. He wants to live in a small village and take up gardening.

“For the last 24 years, Robin has led her life holding onto my tail,” he said. “She’s had to pivot and adjust her life based on mine. She has tremendous benefits from it, but we’re uneven. I want to level that out. She deserves it.” says the 67-year-old actor
However, Bryan Cranston assured fans that he has several upcoming projects lined up before his 70th birthday, including the upcoming comedy film Jackpot, co-starring Jennifer Garner.
