Everyone is familiar with the Character Loki, the god of mischief. The series “Loki” was produced by Marvel Studios and was released in June and July 2021. It is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and revolves around the character named Loki. The series after getting released got so famous, that now it has its own dedicated fanbase.
Soon after Season 1 ended, the arrival of Season 2 in 2021 was declared by the president of MCU, however, it didn’t go according to the plan. What is the release date for Loki Season 2?
It has been officially revealed that Loki Season 2 is going to be released on October 5, 2023. It will be streamed on Disney+ at 6 PM according to the Pacific Time. Moreover, a Trailer was also released for the film, You can check out the trailer below.
Previously it was decided by the President of Marvel Studios, that the film would be released during the Summer season of 2023. Moreover, a mid-credit sequence was also released right after the first season ended that is July 2021. It also declared that there would be a second season. However, that did not go according to the previous plans.
What will be the story plot of Loki Season 2?
In the last episode of Loki Season 1 ‘He Who Remains’, the fans saw how both Loki and Sylvie meet the TVA known as He Who Remains. They both came to know how he continued his work to prevent the multiverse from getting destroyed. He offered two options to both LOki and Sylvie. They can either continue his work by taking over TVA or they have to kill him and let the multiverse fall.
During the fight, Sylvie betrayed Loki and killed ‘He Who Remains’ due to which the multiverse exploded and opened doors to multiple worlds. Then the show ends with Loki ending up in a world that seems changed and he is not familiar with it. So it can be anticipated that in the next Season, Loki will be seen to explore the unfamiliar world while trying to find a solution to get back to his world.

Who are the Casts of the film?
Kevin Feige, the president of MCU has announced that the whole cast of Lokie Season 1 will be returning to Season 2. So the main Character Loki will be played by Tom Hiddleston as usual. However, for the rest of the returning cast, a list has been provided below.

Along with the returning casts, there also will be a few new casts in Season 2. It was officially announced by the Studio. The new cast list includes Ke Huy Quan, an actor in the “Everything Everywhere All at Once” movie. He will be given the role of an Archivist of the Time Variance Authority and is also seen during the official trailer. Kate Dickie, an actor from Game Of Thrones. His role in Season 2 is not confirmed but he might get the role of a villain. Rafael Casal, whose role was officially revealed in July.
