For the last few years, Epic Games has been giving away some memorable titles for free to gamers all around the world. Starting today, Payday 2 has joined the list and will be free to claim during the tenure from June 8 to June 15, 2023.
Payday 2 is an action-packed four-player cooperative game that lets you play as one of the members of the infamous gang. Here you will be creating menace on the streets of Washington DC and indulge in a vibrant life of crime.
The game is also playable solo, with up to 3 bots, and with friends. It lets you choose from a wide range of characters and weapons using which you will be able to conduct various heists and missions relating to the Payday gang.
How to claim Payday 2 for free on the Epic Games Store?
Epic Games has followed a simple and clear procedure for their users to claim their games for free and with ease. Here are the steps that should be followed to claim the game:
- Open the Epic Games Launcher on your computer. Alternatively, you can visit the official Epic Games Store website.
- Log in to your Epic Games account. If you don’t have one, you can create an account quite easily. EGS allows other social media accounts to log in to the website, such as Facebook or Google Accounts.
- Once you are logged in, the page will open in the Store tab by default. Simply scroll down a bit to reach the ‘Free Games’ section where you will see Payday 2. You can also use the search bar on the top left of your screen to find the game. Use the keywords ‘Payday 2’ and you’ll be able to find the game page.

- On opening up the page, you will be able to see a blue labeled option of ‘Get’, on the right side of the screen and click on it.
- Upon clicking the button, it will direct you to a cart, where you will be able to place an order and claim the game for free. This will add the game to your library permanently, and you will be able to access it anytime to play with your friends.
