The title is an upcoming survival horror title in the long-running game. The fourth game in the series and the third title developed by Frictional Games, The Bunker takes place in a WW1 setting. The game also introduces a gun in the series.

Frictional described the setting of the upcoming title:

“Players will walk the course of an ill-lighted WW1 bunker in the shoes of a French soldier troubled by his amnesia and hunted by an otherworldly creature.”

Frictional Games also said that Amnesia: The Bunker will offer more freedom to explore where they want to go. The developers are calling the title a “semi-open world.”

“In a semi-open world, Amnesia: The Bunker encourages the player to explore and experiment, using wits and whatever tools are at their disposal to overcome the looming horrors,” the press release read.

Furthermore, the upcoming title promises multiple solutions to each task, puzzle, and approach to the game’s obstacles.

Amnesia: The Bunker is set to release on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox X|S on March 2023. Check out the new trailer for the title down below.
