Almost a year following its catastrophic debut, Cyberpunk 2077 is making a comeback. As a result of a recent patch delivery by CD Projekt Red, the game was upgraded to current-generation hardware, much to the delight of those who were still enjoying it. Cyberpunk 2077 is now playable on PS5 as well as on Xbox One X|S. Even if you’re not much of a speedrunner, you can try it out without spending a dime ( only for five hours) to see whether you like it.

CyberPunk 2077 Night City Just Got “Nightly”

CDPR hasn’t spelled out all of the changes coming to Night City. In the following days and weeks, gamers new and old alike will unearth fresh information about the game. Like the shown Easter egg. Lamp posts on a whole block were mysteriously turned out in a video uploaded to the Cyberpunk subreddit by K0neer.

The moniker Night City takes on an entirely new definition thanks to this well-concealed detail. A number of other gamers have noted in the comment thread how dark the map would be with no advertisements or lighting within skyscrapers. With the street lamps off, this portion of the Cybercity would have a spooky feel to it at any hour of the day. However, playing Cyberpunk in the darkness may be a challenge in and of itself.

It has been a long time since the title’s easter eggs have been the talk of the town. Notwithstanding the game’s release issues, some who persevered and explored it anyhow found several interesting features and gameplay mechanics. Several nods to popular culture are evident, including a reference to the classic railroad quest from GTA San Andreas as well as a mention to the film It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Gamers may not have seen the Cyberpunk easter egg since it’s a bit more risqué. In the guise of a mail, the message is full of allusions to Always Sunny. If you’ve been barred from a matchmaking service because you showed too much of your body, this email is for you. GoldenGod215 is the username of the individual. In addition to being a tribute to Dennis Reynolds’ moniker, 215 is the postcode for Philadelphia. The text has a lot of altered references to Always Sunny.

I think I found an Always Sunny reference on a computer email in Cyberpunk 2077! from IASIP

Gamers are still running Cyberpunk, defying all the bugs and continuity errors the game brings. That’s ignoring the fact that the current features and upgrades aren’t ideal. But even though Night Town’s cop pursuits have improved thanks to CDPR’s efforts, Cyberpunk is yet to approach the position it envisioned at debut.
