Sons of the Forest, Endnight Games’ follow-up to The Forest, is getting increasing attention. Sons of Forest’s creators are steadily providing additional information, but we still have a long way to go until the game’s debut window. While Endnight has said that Sons of the Forest would be released sometime during 2022, additional information is expected to emerge before then.

Here’s everything we know about the game.

Sons of the Forest Release Date

Hey Everyone,

Here are some screenshots from our upcoming game Sons Of The Forest.

The title is expected to be released in 2022, says the publisher’s formal Twitter handle. Following an aircraft accident, gamers will find themselves in a strange wilderness. That’s not a typical forest, though. Strange inhuman monsters prowl the woods, ready to devour the last surviving victim. As the only survivor, it is your responsibility to explore the mystery woodland while avoiding being its latest target.

Sons Of Forest Story

The title’s narrative has been kept under wraps, however, a few elements have come to light. Unlike the monstrous savages of the previous installment, this title’s foes are brand new. Since she appears to be in a place she doesn’t really fit in the Sons of Forest plot, the arrival of Virginia is even more interesting.

That opens up a completely different set of plot options if Timmy is the title’s protagonist. It’s possible that Timmy’s condition has worsened as a result of his time on the island, as evidenced by his appearance at the video’s conclusion. Several of the challenges faced by the adolescent explorer could be due to his biological abnormality, but it could also reflect why Virginia appears to have a soft spot for him.

Sons Of Forest Gameplay

The gameplay seen in the clip is a preview of what the final product will look like. It begins with our hero/protagonist establishing his own shelter and campfire, and afterward switches to him crafting armaments plus poaching equipment.

A quick cut shows our hero on his way to the woods to begin his search The hero captures and consumes a tortoise over the course of the quest. As in the original edition, gamers can look forward to a broader selection of hunting tools and prey. After then, the gamer begins to explore. The video displays several disturbing images throughout the expedition, such as a skewered corpse.

It then cuts to a series of battles between characters battling bizarre-looking creatures. As shown in the teaser, several hideous creatures are intended to terrify gamers who aren’t brave enough to face them.

As revealed in the clip, gamers will be able to use weaponry such as shotguns or pistols. Gamers should construct a safe haven similar to every game belonging to the same genre, which requires them to construct a barrier around their base. A parent and kid are seen confronting another horrifying creature near the conclusion of the clip.

Sons Of The Forest

The teaser for Sons of the Forest shows just how extensive the game’s open-world is. Places such as tunnels populated by the aforementioned creatures, coastlines, and a laboratory of certain types were seen in the video.
