What features are we getting with Episode 7, Act 1?
Riot Games has announced the introduction of exciting new additions to the game, including Team Deathmatch. This mode will feature intense 5v5 battles on dedicated maps, designed specifically for this mode. The objective is to be the first team to reach 100 kills, determining the victor of the match. These updates promise to bring fresh gameplay experiences and further enhance the competitive nature of the game.
The developers have scheduled the release of Deadlock with this episode. She is a Sentinel with cutting-edge nanotechnology that disables opponents efficiently. After a while, the developers released her as the first sentinel, following Chamber’s release in 2022. Her kit features a grenade that forces opponents to crouch, a barrier that restricts enemy movement, and a trap that concussed enemies based on significant noise. Her ultimate pulls an opponent towards the origin point while cocooning them and killing them if they reach that point.
Riot Games has overhauled the Progression System, implementing a fresh currency system and redesigning the agent unlocking screen and gear unlocks. With the introduction of Kingdom, a new in-game currency, players can now unlock previously released Battle Pass items from the Accessory Store. Additionally, Kingdom unlocks new characters, expanding agent options and offering players greater flexibility in gameplay strategies. These changes aim to enhance the overall progression experience and provide players with more options for customization and agent selection.
The battle pass of Valorant Episode 7 is the most colorful feature in this act. Riot Games are giving us 3 color schemes to choose from, those being Blush, Composite, and Digihex. The composite scheme is futuristic and bright orange in color. The Blush scheme, on the other hand, provides a simple black with pink highlights that many players have been craving. Lastly, the DigiHex scheme receives black paint with a tinge of blue. As with the last Battlepasses, Valorant is also giving out stickers, sprays, gun buddies, and player cards with their battle passes.
