Crunchyroll, the anime streaming site, has announced the development of One Punch Man: World, a brand-new online multiplayer action game. It takes inspiration from the well-known anime and manga series One Punch Man. The game will be available on Android, iOS, and PC platforms. Players can join the Hero Association and embark on various missions and raids to combat waves of villains.
Players have the opportunity to select iconic heroes such as Genos, Mumen Rider and relive memorable scenes from the show. One Punch Man: World offers an immersive experience for fans to step into the heroic world of Saitama and his fellow heroes.
What do we know about the upcoming One Punch Man game?
Bandai Namco previously released a One Punch Man video game, but it is not the same as One Punch Man: World. Instead, it features more of an action game style with combos, dodges, and ultimate assaults similar to that of Bayonetta. Players can advance and rank up in the game by completing side tasks and mini-games in Z-City.
The PC version of the game, set to launch later this year, allows users to pre-register on the official website. India is not one of the countries listed in the first few countries to get the release. Crunchyroll is creating One Punch Man: World in collaboration with Perfect World, the company behind Persona 5: The Phantom X.
The primary character Saitama, who has the power to beat any adversary with a single punch, may present a substantial hurdle for the game’s designers in terms of gameplay balance. As seen in a video on the official website when Saitama uses many punches to defeat an opponent, the solution appears to include limiting Saitama’s strength in the game. To find out Saitama’s full ability, gamers will have to wait until the game is released. The game will also feature an interactive story across Z-City with Genos and Saitama helping people against the enemies of mankind.
