Neon is one of the most unique agents in valorant, which serves the role of a duelist and has a lot of fun abilities, such as High Gear, Fast Lane, Relay Bolt, and her overpowered Overdrive that attract players to pick her. its speed is much faster compared to other agents. Despite her unique abilities, some players make mistakes that affect their gameplay and overall affect the team.

This article will cover all the top 10 neon mistakes made by valorant players. Whether players are new to Neon or seasoned player, mastering these mistakes might elevate a player’s gameplay and experience.

Top 10 Neon Mistakes: Explained

Top 10 Neon Mistakes10. Not having their gun out

One of the biggest neon mistakes that players make is not having their guns out before dashing. If their gun is not out before dashing, in most cases, they might die when they face the enemy, it’s because the gun-out animation is slightly time-consuming. So it’s better that neon players take the gun in their hand and then dash.

9. Timing their dash

Timing Neon’s dash means that players should know how much distance the player will cover after dashing. Every player must try to surprise their enemy and kill them, so the player should have an idea of dashing behind the cover at which point they can get exposed to the enemy.

8. Fast Lane / Wall up

Neon players must try to aim higher while using their Fast Lane. By doing so, it will go over the objects and even further in the map.

7. Relay Bolt / Stuns

Most of the players waste their stuns while spamming unnecessarily without spotting enemies. Stuns are very important abilities for Neon to enter the site. If the player wastes the stuns without stunning the enemy, there a high chance that the player will get killed.

6. Overdrive / Ultimates

Neon Ultimate is very precise and accurate, but the most common neon mistake is to stand and shoot while using their Ultimate. In most cases, the player does get killed. So, while using Neon Ultimate, the player must keep moving, making it difficult for the enemy to shoot.

5. B-hopping

Most neon players do not make b-hopping, an important movement for the agent. If the player is spotted while b-hopping in an open area, the enemy will kill them. So, before entering an open area, the player must only run, and eliminate the enemy if spotted.

4. Neglecting orbs

Neon players, make the mistake of not taking orbs when they have the opportunity. Suppose, in a particular round, the opponents have vandals or their team has pistols; Just one neon ultimate has the capability to eliminate the entire enemy team. Even eliminating one of them will get their Team a Vandal from the enemy team, increasing the winning chances.

3. Fast rotation

neon mistakesDuring rotations, Neon can rotate faster from one site to another than any other agent. But it’s recommended not to overdo it as neon loses energy very fast.

2. Ultimate form

neon mistakesWhile using Neon Ultimate, players should always try to aim for the head, but most of the players avoid it for fear of missing the shots, and they aim at the body. Neon Ultimate causes 54 damage in headshot, so any player can kill an enemy in just three shots, so always try to aim for the head.

In conclusion, neon offers one of the most unique sets of utilities that can be beneficial for the team and any player, but mastering it might help you improve your overall gameplay and experience.
