What happened in Chapter 141?
In chapter 141, we see Denji and Nyuta in the supermarket. Both of them were buying food when Denji noticed Chainsaw Man Curry Buns. After that, while returning to their home, they see a Giant devil getting tackled by public safety. However, he did not assist them because he was tired and did not want to go in his Chainsaw Man form.

After spending the whole day at home, Denji while lying on the bed, Denji suddenly asks Nayuta wondering if he made the right choice by getting into the cult. He also added by saying that it would be better if he got a regular job. After getting asked, Nayuto says that she will be with him forever to make him happy. After this conversation, both Denji and Nayuto fall asleep together surrounded by their furry companions.
On the next day, we can see a discussion about a plan going on between Miri, Barem, and 2 Hybrid. They talked about executing Chainsaw Man Church’s Worship day and Barem looked excited. He wanted to see Denji in Chainsaw Man form. However, when Miri seemed uninterested in the plan, the others changed the topic and started talking about their devil form and weapons. While talking, Barem adds that they were born to kill others, so no matter how much they murder, they won’t be punished by the gods.

What will happen in chapter 142?
In this chapter, we will get to see Barem, Miri, and their hybrids executing the Chainsaw Man Church’s Worship Day plan and on the other hand Denji getting forced to get into a fight against them to save the civilians and other devil hunters.
