EA is gearing up for the next chapter after FIFA, revealing their upcoming football franchise, EA Sports FC. The new game, FC 24 is set to debut in early access on September 22, followed by its official release to the general public on September 29.
EA Sports FC will be available on various platforms including Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The highly anticipated game, known as EA Sports FC 24 or simply FC24, might make its first appearance during this unveiling. The game will be featuring tie-ups with various leagues instead of FIFA as a whole.
What do we know about FC 24?
Last year, Electronic Arts Inc. and Fifa concluded their licensing agreement, marking Fifa 23 as the last EA game to incorporate both entities. Despite discontinuing the use of the Fifa name, EA will continue developing football games that showcase renowned players and successful teams. EA employs an upgraded iteration of its Frostbite engine to develop FC24.
EA Sports FC will make its debut on September 29, 2023, marking its first release as a non-FIFA game. You have the option to choose between Standard and Ultimate editions. The latter provides a week of early access starting, September 22.
Furthermore, the company announced partnerships with the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League. The inclusion of the women’s professional leagues from Spain and the Netherlands is now part of EA Sports FC 24. Erling Halland, the legendary striker from Manchester City will be serving as the face of the new game. It is speculated that since M’bappe is negotiating talks with Real Madrid, but is still in PSG, misunderstanding may occur.

Additionally, the implementation of “playstyles” involves utilizing data from real players to generate more precise simulations of their in-game counterparts. Players will be able to add players of both sexes to their ultimate team as part of the new features.

A lot of fans have voiced their disappointment over the new FC24 trailer. For them, it was more animation, less gameplay in the form of a trailer. FIFA is also in talks to launch their new game, but no official statement has come out yet.
