Everyone’s favorite first-person heist game gets its official system requirements. Starbreeze, the game’s developers revealed the system requirements on the official Steam store page of Payday 3. The game will be featuring the original Payday gang from the previous titles as they step into New York after retiring from their second lives in Washington DC.
The city sure is in for some mayhem, as the gang now has access to many modern technologies in their arsenal to spite the law enforcement agencies once again. Certain members of the original gang make their reappearances, such as Dallas, Chains, and Wolf. We’re sure that the developers have plans to extend the gang further by adding story-rich characters. What do we know about Payday 3 System Requirements?
From the looks of it, Payday 3 will still be using Unreal Engine 4. It’s an upgrade from what Starbreeze used for their prequel: Diesel. There is no confirmed news, on whether Payday 3 will be upgraded to Unreal Engine 5 post-launch.
Unreal Engine 4 never required very high-end pc requirements, and the third title in the Payday series will follow in the footsteps of being playable on most mid-range PCs. According to the Steam store page, the minimum requirements are as follows: Intel Core i5-9400F, 16 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.
This implies the game can run on lower-end hardware but will need the above specifications to run smoothly without lags. However, the developers recommend the gamers have an Intel i7-9700K, 16GB of RAM, and Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080. The GTX 10 series which launched in 2016 and will still be going strong. What we could see from the gameplay footage of Payday, the game does not look demanding at all. Payday is notorious for summoning numerous law enforcement officials to confront a group of four individuals wearing clown masks.
