While Valorant has a huge fanbase around the world, especially in the Asian region, China was the only nation that wasn’t on the list. With the addition of the game in the nation, there is high chance many will shift to it as many are acquainted with CSGO.
The Chinese professional gaming scene is vast and has shown great performances with titles like League of Legends, CSGO, and other esports titles. So, it would be interesting to see how the nation performs when it comes to Valorant.
The addition of Valorant in the Chinese region is great for the community and shows great hopes for 2023. Riot Games might make updated announcements regarding the inclusion of Chinese teams in the next Valorant Champions Tour.
So kicking off a new year with the inclusion of another esports title in these Chinese provinces looks promising. Additionally it would interesting to see what the Chinese community has to offer when they are reintroduced with Valorant.
